Technical Position at Tibram Ltd.

Railway technology and CNC machining in Uetendorf, since 1952.

What we’re working on

In the field of railway technology, we develop, manufacture, and test grounding devices for rail vehicles. These devices ensure the dissipation of return current through the rails on locomotives, railcars, high-speed trains, commuter trains, and subways. In addition, we provide compressed air solutions tailored to the railway sector and custom-manufacture technical components.

In the field of metalworking, our focus is on CNC machining of large components: milling and turning of technically complex parts, as well as pre-assembly and final assembly operations. We manufacture individual parts, medium-sized series, as well as assemblies and systems for machine building, railway technology, mechanical engineering, and industry.

These are not mass-produced parts, but components designed to withstand heavy-duty use in rail vehicles, power generation facilities, and mechanical engineering – with certified materials, strict tolerances, and traceability all the way back to the raw material.

Our Approach

Tibram SA is a manufacturing company based in Uetendorf that operates two production facilities under one roof. The employees there are responsible for the various stages of production, as well as for precision and quality.

It’s important to think things through: Are the design, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing process consistent? Can the component be inspected? Can the machining be performed cost-effectively and to a technically flawless standard?

Tibram is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Measuring instruments are inspected and maintained on a regular basis. The re-stamping authorization ensures seamless traceability of materials, which is particularly important in sectors such as rail, energy, and transportation.
