CNC Machining for Industrial Applications

Milling, turning, assembly, and consulting in Uetendorf – precision machining for cubic and rotationally symmetrical parts, ranging from small parts measuring 20 mm to large components measuring 8,000 mm.

Milling of cubic parts using CNC machines

Tibram specializes in the milling of technically complex parts, whether they are high-precision one-off parts or small- to medium-volume production runs.

We machine various grades of steel and stainless steel, cast materials, non-ferrous and light metals, as well as plastics. Large parts are machined on the Soraluce SP8000, the Reiden BFR22, and the Reiden RX12 milling and turning center. The RX12 machine can machine turned parts up to 1,200 mm in diameter, and the pallet changer ensures continuous operation across three shifts.

Precision machining from 20 mm to 2,500 mm with travel ranges of 6,500 mm x 2,500 mm on the fixed-bed milling machine. Parts up to 8 m in length and 10 t in weight, with process reliability from the very first part. Multiple 5-axis machines for complex geometries, programmed using a modern programming system.

CNC turning for precision engineering parts

Multi-axis turning and milling centers for rotationally symmetrical parts with a maximum diameter of 400 mm and a maximum length of 2,000 mm. Depending on the part’s characteristics, turning, milling, and drilling are combined in a single setup, ensuring high dimensional accuracy and meeting stringent technical requirements.

Turning centers equipped with a B-axis enable the cost-effective production of parts that combine turning and milling; for components with a maximum diameter of 180 mm and a unit weight of 15 kg, a loading robot automates the machine’s feed, making production efficient even for small batches.

Installation and consultation

Assembly – Tibram manufactures and assembles complete assemblies: from the production and procurement of individual components to the fully assembled unit, including, where necessary, welding processes and surface treatments.

Consulting – Reviewing technical manufacturing aspects during the construction phase: Tibram assesses the technical feasibility of construction projects through discussions with clients. This helps reduce costs even before production begins.

Level of vertical integration at a site

What is typically handled by multiple subcontractors, Tibram consolidates at its production facility in Uetendorf: various machining processes and a wide range of materials, all machined to the finished state in just a few setups.

Process reliable. Documented.

Tibram is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management. Each component is inspected using identified and calibrated measuring instruments, then documented according to the part class assigned to it. Throughout the manufacturing process up to delivery: dimensional accuracy with manufacturing tolerances of up to 0.02 mm, surface finishes of up to Ra 0.5 µm, and traceability of raw materials.

Tibram manages the entire process chain and can therefore ensure seamless traceability. If necessary, the re-stamping certificate verifies the origin of the materials.
